“Comeon.”Heisdiggingthroughtherubble,pullingawaytwistedlengthsofmetalandsweepingawaythescatteredcrystals.Theycrunchunderhisfeetandgrindintohisskinwhenhedropstohisknees,ripthroughhispalmswhenhestartstodigthroughitall.Forthefirsttimeinhislife,hefeelsbadforthepeoplewhodidnotknowwhatitistobemagic,whohavetowatchthingslikethishappenandbehelplesstostopthem.“Comeon,Draco,comeon.”

“Comeon,Draco,”Harrysays,andheisnotsurewhatthatmeans,ifheiscallingforhimandreallyexpectingananswer,ifitisapleaoraprayerorsomethingstuckbetween,ifheactuallythinksthereissomeoneouttherelistening.“Bealright.Bealright.”
